Designing the Mind is seeking a remote and part-time content marketing assistant. This person will work with me to help scale the reach and impact of DTM, using a combination of social media, search engine optimization, and paid ads. The exact focus of the position may be tailored to the strengths and interests of individual candidates, and compensation will vary accordingly.


Roles and Responsibilities

– Creating, editing, and sharing simple explainer animations and videos based on existing DTM work across social media platforms (IG/FB Reels, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)

– Creating and sharing text and image posts based on existing DTM work across social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Reddit, etc.)

– Managing website content, creating and modifying SEO articles, and optimizing articles for other platforms (WordPress, Medium, Post, etc.)

– Creating and optimizing search and social ads (Google, YouTube, TikTok, FB/IG, etc.)

– Monitoring and reporting analytics and growth metrics regularly

– Managing and optimizing Amazon listings and ads

– Providing administrative assistance, email management, and outreach



– A strong interest and drive to create, share, and expand the reach of DTM content

– Effective written and verbal communication skills

– Ability to work effectively and independently with minimal oversight

– Demonstrated grasp of design and marketing principles

– Portfolio or case studies of previous related work


If you have a strong connection to or background in psychitectural areas like psychology and philosophy and the ability to write original work comparable to existing DTM work in quality, tone, and depth, there may be an opportunity for a more ambitious role.
